What we do

A machine, a van, and your driveway.

We remove the carbon deposits that build up inside every engine — without taking anything apart, without harsh chemicals, and without you going anywhere. Here is exactly how it works and what it does.

The process

How hydrogen carbon cleaning works

It sounds exotic. The principle is genuinely simple.

1. Distilled water becomes gas

The machine passes a current through distilled water and splits it into hydrogen and oxygen. That is all it produces — no solvents, no additives, nothing that stays behind in the engine.

2. The gas goes into the intake

We connect a feed to the air intake and the engine draws the gas in on its own while it idles. Output is matched to your engine size, so a 1.0-litre city car and a 3.0 V6 each get an appropriate dose.

3. Combustion does the work

Hydrogen burns hot and fast. Introduced into the combustion chamber it helps break down the hard carbon that has baked onto valves, injector tips and piston crowns over tens of thousands of miles.

4. The carbon leaves

Loosened deposits pass out through the exhaust as the engine runs. You will often see the exhaust note clean up during the cycle. Then you take it for a decent run to finish the job.

Coverage inside the engine

What actually gets cleaned

The gas follows the same path the air does, so it reaches the places air reaches.

  • Inlet tract and throttle body
  • Intake valves and valve seats
  • Injector tips and spray faces
  • Combustion chambers and piston crowns
  • EGR valve and EGR passages
  • Turbocharger vanes and housing
  • Exhaust ports and the front of the exhaust system
  • Sensors in the gas path, including lambda sensors
Being straight with you

What it will not do

We would rather you booked with realistic expectations than felt sold to.

  • It will not restore compression on a mechanically worn engine
  • It will not repair a failed EGR valve, turbo or injector
  • It will not unblock a DPF that is already fully loaded
  • It will not fix a misfire caused by coils, plugs or wiring
  • It will not clear a warning light with a mechanical root cause
  • It will not add horsepower beyond what the engine originally had

If we look at your car and think the money is better spent elsewhere, we will tell you on the spot. Read our piece on the risks and the myths we would rather debunk.

On the day

What happens when we turn up

We arrive and set up

Van parked nearby, machine on the ground or the tailgate. No mains power needed and nothing goes on your drive that shouldn't.

Quick look and a chat

Bonnet up, a look at the engine and a couple of questions about how it drives. If we spot something that needs a garage, we say so.

The cycle runs

Engine idles, gas is fed to the intake, output matched to engine size. Roughly an hour for a basic clean, up to two for a deep clean.

Handover

We disconnect, tidy up, tell you what we saw, hand you the invoice and receipt, and recommend a good long run to finish it off.
