Choosing

Which one do you actually need?

Most people overthink this. Here is the short version.

Go basic if…

  • The car is under roughly 60,000 miles
  • It drives fine and you are doing this as upkeep
  • You had a clean done within the last 12–18 months
  • It gets regular longer runs, not just town driving

Go deep if…

  • It has never had a carbon clean
  • It is over roughly 60,000 miles
  • It lives on short journeys and cold starts
  • You have noticed a flat spot, rough idle or dropping MPG
  • An MOT emissions test is coming up

Still not sure? Put the car and mileage on the booking form and we will tell you which one we would do — including telling you to save your money and take the basic.

The value question

Why £99 a year is the point

Prevention is the cheap end

EGR valves, turbos and DPFs are the components carbon kills, and they are three- and four-figure jobs. A yearly clean does not guarantee you avoid them, but it removes one of the main causes.

See the maths →

Fuel adds up quietly

We will not promise you a number — anyone who does is guessing. But an engine that breathes properly uses the fuel you buy more efficiently, and that runs every single mile for the next year.

The honest MPG answer →

Paperwork is worth money

Every clean produces a dated invoice. Stacked up over a few years, that is the kind of documented history that makes a buyer trust the car — and pay for it.

Why receipts matter →

Pricing questions

The bits people ask about the money

Is there a call-out or travel charge?

No. £99 and £149 include travel to anywhere in our North East coverage area. If you are somewhere unusual and outside it, we will just tell you honestly rather than adding a surcharge later.

Do you take a deposit?

No deposit. You send a request, we agree a time, we turn up and you pay when the job is done.

How do I pay?

Cash, bank transfer or card on the day. You get an invoice and receipt either way.

Do you do a deal on more than one vehicle?

Yes — if we can do several at one address or one site in a single visit, get in touch and we will work something out. Tick "multiple vehicles" on the booking form.

Will you try to upsell me on the day?

No. If you booked the basic and we genuinely think you need the deep, we will say so and let you decide — and just as often we tell people the basic is plenty. The price you booked is the price you pay.

Is a bigger engine more expensive?

No. The machine output is matched to your engine size, but the price is the same whether it is a 1.0 three-cylinder or a 3.0 V6.

Ready to get it booked?

Two minutes on the form and we will come back with times that suit you.
